Hi all!

I'm going to start inputting Christmas wages in a few minutes, which means I'm going to be copying the *current* state of what is in Odoo over to PaySauce. Any changes to schedules or to cleaners that are done starting now up until the 30/12 for Auckland and 4/01 for Wellington won't be copied over to PaySauce. If you need to make a change anyway, please change it in Odoo as you would, and then send me an email so I can change the wages as well. If you know of anything that will need to be done, please get it done sooner rather than later so we can get everyone paid correctly and on time!

Hi all, 

Newhub just published an article about the mistreatment of cleaning staff at another cleaning company (you can read it here: https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2018/10/treated-like-slaves-overseas-students-claim-they-re-underpaid-overworked-threatened.html). This story is awful, and definitely not a reflection of who we want to be as a cleaning company! I’m sure we aren’t as bad as that article, but it would be worthwhile to make sure we don’t mistreat our staff in any way. We’re specifically thinking of how supervisors might talk to our cleaners sometimes, especially if there are any issues going on. I’m going to get all AMs and supervisors together to make sure we are all on the same page about this next week. In the meantime I would like everyone to be mindful of how mistreating staff in any way is not part of our culture, and of how damaging such behaviour could to our reputation as an employer if it would be published.

Hi all, there's a public holiday coming up on Monday! For your wages, that means you will need to log anyone that worked on Monday in Odoo using the Public Holiday Worked function right below the Non-Invoiced Extra job. Please grab me/give me a call when you log your first public holiday worked, so we can run through it together. Enjoy the long weekend!  😀
