Keeping NZ Beeyoodiful
Hey team!
We have just donated to the Million Metres Stream Project for our 2018-2019 year. We donated $520 to the Omaru Steam Project, which runs through the Point England Reserve in East Auckland. Our donation will allow them to plant 10 metres along the stream.
You can read all about this project at the link below, and they are having a community planting day on Saturday June 15th, so if anyone in Auckland felt inclined to plant some trees, you can!

Donating to these projects is all about reducing the CMOS carbon footprint (which affects climate change) and our impact on the environment. Some other ways you can do this are:
- Walk or bike or get public transport when you can.
- Turning off lights and appliances in the office when we’re not using them, and going easy on the heat pump.
- Reduce the amount of plastic packaging you buy/use (use a reusable coffee cup!)
- Cut back on meat and dairy (Wim can provide tips on this)
- Recycle!
Added bonus that most of these things save us money too!
